An Integration Competence Center, defined from scratch
A university hospital was building its first Integration Competence Center. They had a mandate and a budget, but no process, no governance and no shared idea of what an API should look like.
Where they stood
Every department integrated its own way. Clinical, administrative and research systems talked through point-to-point interfaces nobody owned, and every new project restarted the same arguments.
What we did
We applied Idea2API to define the operating model: API lifecycle and quality gates, governance roles, design standards and the tooling to support them, then coached the new team through its first real APIs.
What changed
A working ICC with an agreed process, a governance board that meets, and a first wave of APIs delivered under the new standards. The framework now travels with every new integration request.
